Patterned tile first become noticeable in the mainstream with the rise of the Modern Farmhouse look. As the pattern look become more and more popular, designers took notice and ran with it. Now you can find pretty much any pattern, color, shape and style, for whatever your design preferences desire! Pattern tile tends to look best in smaller spaces; bathrooms, mud rooms and laundry areas are ideal if you’re looking to give this design trend a shot. If you are worried about things looking too busy, keep the pattern on a larger scale, and try to find larger tiles. Monochrome also makes a big statement while still giving a more classic look. If you are feeling bold enough to work with a color, make sure you pair it with other permanent neutral fixtures. Floral styles are most often used in homes with a farmhouse or transitional feel. Geometric prints feel more natural in modern styled homes. If you want to use linear patterns, play with the tiles for several days before you decide on what pattern you’d like to lay them in. We’ve attached some of our favorite tiles in a wide range of prices. Comment below if you have tried this trend and how it has held up!
